Thesis title: Social Media Governance
Safarah is a part-time PhD candidate for Public Policy. She has always had a special interest in the mechanics of how government work. This is reflected in her Bachelors Degree which she did in Politics and Psychology. She continued her studies at UBD for her Masters Degree in Public Policy and Management as part of Cohort 5. Safarah is working full-time at the Public Service Department providing her services in benefits and remunerations to government employees. She realizes that communication between the government and its clients plays a role towards improving its services. This is her research interest. She pays special attention to technology policies as it governs digital communications. She feels strongly that public policies need to reflect by putting public interests at the forefront while ensuring good decision making processes and at the same time eliminate governance risks.
