Thesis title: Islamic Governance of the Deaf
Dayang Siti Nur Rafhanah Binti Awang Masri is a Master’s candidate in Islamic Governance from the Institute of Policy Studies, UBD. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology & Anthropology from the Universiti of Brunei Darussalam. Having a deaf sister had attracted her interest to research about the Deaf people in Brunei Darussalam. Therefore, during her degree, she made research on “Social Interaction Between Hearing and Non-hearing employees in the workplace” examining the pattern of their interactions. Now she is pursuing her interest to study more about the Deaf in her Master. Her current research title is “Islamic Governance of the Deaf”.
