Thesis title: The Fifth Domain: Online Political Participation in Brunei Darussalam
Abdul Malik Omar is a PhD candidate specialising in Public Policy at the Institute of Policy Studies, UBD. His thesis titled, ‘The Fifth Domain’ examines the confluence of digital technology, public participation and political governance in Brunei Darussalam. Building a greater understanding to how societies and states can capitalise digital technology to make better policy decision-making amid the engulfing 4IR has driven the thesis’ development and focus. He has also authored three non-fiction books and published several academic book chapters. He is open for potential academic collaboration in the fields of digital governance.
