Introduction

Global Trends in Governance and Policy Paradigms is an edited book that examines the different policy paradigms that have shaped global governance in recent years. The book provides a comprehensive overview of the rise of the neoliberal paradigm, the emergence of new paradigms in response to global challenges, the role of international organizations in promoting new policy paradigms, and the challenges of implementing new policy paradigms in different national contexts.

Objective

The book will make a significant contribution to the field of public policy by providing a comprehensive overview of the different policy paradigms that have shaped global governance in recent years. It will also help to inform the debate about the future of global governance by highlighting the challenges and opportunities of new policy paradigms. The book will be used by scholars and policymakers around the world to understand the dynamics of global governance. It will also be used by practitioners in international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector to develop and implement new policies.

Target Audience

The book's target audience includes scholars of public policy, international relations, and global governance; policymakers in government, international organizations, and the private sector; practitioners in the field of development, social justice, and environmental sustainability; and anyone interested in understanding the future of global governance.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before October 8, 2023, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by October 22, 2023 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by January 21, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
