Dr Majdey Zawawi graduated in 2020, his doctoral research revolved around “Power Dynamics between Religious and State Authorities: The Case of the Four Mujtahid Imams”. He is currently one of the lecturer in Islamic Studies and a Programme Leader under the affiliation of Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Centre for Islamic Studies.
